Rise and Write Your Shine
This serene and grounding workshop invited participants to rise gently and begin their day with intention. Held weekly at Dreki Soul in Easthampton, each session combined mindful movement and reflective writing practices, creating space for personal exploration and inner stillness. Participants were guided through gentle movement to awaken the body, followed by journaling exercises that encouraged turning inward and setting a thoughtful tone for the day. It was a supportive space for self-discovery, creativity, and connection, offering a meaningful way to embrace the quiet magic of the morning.

Writing From the Well
Over the course of a whole year we gathered seasonally, when the moon was full, to explore not only our magical practices but also how we feel and think about the lineages we inherited those practices from. Using creative and personal writing, mindful movement, pranayama, and meditation we spelunked into our lived experiences with the goal of personal discovery and sharing those insights among fellow travelers. This workshop was held at Groudings in Florence, MA.

Writing Practice 4
Writing Practice was a 5-week drop-in online, generative writing workshop. We spent our time free-writing with suggested topics and structured prompts as we built up a bank of raw material to reflect on the life we live, and what is most important to us. Some of us will use this to craft poems, stories, and other personal writing, others of us may prefer to write with no future agenda of output. Each session included the opportunity to read one’s drafting aloud.
Week 1: The Creator & The Editor
Week 2: What is My Raison D'être?
Week 3: We Are Not The Poem
Week 4: Why Do I Write?
Week 5: It’s Your Life, Begin From It

You Are The Masterpiece
Through movement practices and writing exercises we explored turning inwards towards our own truths, needs, and creativity. This four-part series was facilitated by Cordelia McKusick and erin feldman live and in-person at Studio Helix in Northampton, Ma. As we near the winter solstice the external world becomes darker and quieter. At the same time, commerce and socializing are speeding up for the Holidaze. Together we rested, played, wondered, and worked on practices that helped us balance the demands of life and this season.

Writing Practice 5
Writing Practice is a 5-week drop-in online, generative writing workshop that will complete on October 29, 2024. We took inspiration from the writings of Cory Muscara, former monk and meditation teacher, to better see all the parts of ourselves as we write about:
Week 1: What If/Fear
Week 2: Soul Purpose
Week 3: Insecurity & Healing
Week 4: Confidence vs People Pleasing
Week 5: Worthiness & Truth
